The Concepting Class is an eight-week summer program that addresses the concepting skills and portfolio building needed to become a creative. It is designed to enhance the training of people from diverse cultural backgrounds who may not have financial access to portfolio schools. 

The classes focus on weekly creative briefs that cover everything from print assignments to integrated campaigns. Guest speakers for the program include creatives from around the industry.

To apply, you must be:

  • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Middle Eastern/North African, Black/African-descent, American Indian/Alaska Native, or Asian

  • A student, recent graduate, intern, or young professional looking to become a creative

  • Available to attend weekly classes in New York City on Wednesdays at 6PM from June to July

  • Have an existing portfolio that you would like to improve
